Stepping Out Program
A 12 week exercise program facilitated by a registered kinesiologist, nurse specialists and a registered physiotherapist. Participants complete pre and post fitness testing and are prescribed an exercise program and monitored throughout the program.
This is a 4 week program to help you understand and overcome emotional eating and gain behavioural strategies to manage problematic eating. Participants come to this class with a clear understanding of what healthy eating looks like but are struggling with problematic eating that feels “out of control.” You may have repeatedly lost and regained weight over the years, tried various weight loss regimes, may or may not be considering bariatric surgery or may have had weight loss surgery and are beginning to struggle again.
The focus of this program is on lifestyle changes to help patients reach and maintain their health goals while managing chronic diseases. Our goal is to provide education, support and results for optimizing individual health. The program will be delivered by Registered Dietitians. The program consists of 12 weekly, 1-hour sessions and monthly follow-up group.

Learn to eat for optimal health. Nutritional information and recipes to manage blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes or weight. Series of classes on various topics – attend one or all three classes. These sessions are designed to help you adopt food choices to help improve your health. The focus is on learning how to use more whole grains, less salt, and increase use of beans, lentils and vegetables in an economical manner.
