You should ALWAYS try to contact your family doctor or nurse practitioner to book an appointment before using after-hours services. If you are unable to get a same-day appointment and need urgent medical attention, you may use our after-hours service provided at Walmart in Fergus.
In an effort to help keep patients and staff safe during the current pandemic, access to the clinic is now offered by appointment only. Patients wishing to see a primary care provider may call the clinic at (519) 787-2940 up to 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled opening time to speak to one of our staff members.

The following options are available if you need non-urgent medical advice outside the operating hours of your physician’s office and after-hours clinic:
The Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS) can be reached at 1-866-553-7205. Patients may call between 5 p.m.-9 a.m. Monday-Friday and/or on weekends from 5 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. on Mondays, and 24 hours a day on recognized holidays to speak to a Registered Nurse. This service is available to patients who are registered with one our affiliated physicians in Centre Wellington.
Telehealth, which can be reached by dialing 811, or online: https://health811.ontario.ca/static/guest/home and is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week allows patients to speak with a Registered Nurse for advice or information.
The Ontario Virtual Care Clinic is a new service that allows patients to connect with an on-call physician by audio or video between 8 p.m. and midnight for answers to simple health questions e.g. allergies, women’s health issues, chronic disease management, pain, rash or medication questions. Patients with a valid health card and a reliable internet connection can visit this website to request a visit with the next available provider (access code: health).
